Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of containers, trailers, cabins, and related products by Swift Ship Containers (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“the buyer”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. They work alongside our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Payment Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
1. Products and Availability
We sell new (one-trip) and used shipping containers, modified containers, cabins, and trailers. Product availability, specifications, and stock condition may vary. Photographs are representative; minor cosmetic differences (paint, surface rust on used units, markings) are normal and do not affect structural integrity.
2. Condition Grades
- One-Trip / New: shipped once, near-new condition.
- Cargo Worthy (CW): certified structurally sound and suitable for shipping.
- Wind & Watertight (WWT): structurally sound, weatherproof, ideal for storage.
Grades describe general condition and are not a guarantee of cosmetic appearance.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payment terms are set out in our Payment Policy. Applicable sales tax is added per our Sales Tax Policy. Orders are not released for delivery until payment has cleared in full.
4. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only once we confirm it and payment is authorized. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud; in such cases any payment taken is refunded.
5. Delivery and Site Access
A flat-rate delivery fee of $450 applies within the contiguous 48 states; Alaska and Hawaii are quoted separately. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. The buyer is responsible for ensuring safe, clear, and legal access for the delivery vehicle and adequate space for offloading. Re-delivery or failed-delivery charges resulting from inadequate access are the buyer’s responsibility.
6. Inspection and Acceptance
Please inspect your container at the time of delivery. Note any transit damage on the delivery paperwork and contact us within 48 hours with photographs so we can assist. Signing for the delivery without noting damage confirms the unit was received in acceptable condition.
7. Returns
Returns are handled under our Return & Refund Policy. Standard unmodified containers may be returned within 30 days; custom and modified units are non-refundable once fabrication has begun.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swift Ship Containers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Buyers are responsible for compliance with local zoning, permitting, and placement regulations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your order applies to that order.
